Maciej Kranz brings 30 years of networking industry experience to his position as Vice President, Corporate Strategic Innovation Group at Cisco. In this role, Mr. Kranz leads a team focused on incubating new businesses, accelerating internal innovation, and driving co-innovation with customers and startups through a global network of Cisco Innovation Centers. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Kranz was General Manager of Cisco’s Connected Industries Group, a business unit focused on technology solutions for the Internet of Things. He built a $250M business from the ground up in 18 months and relentlessly evangelized the IoT opportunity across Cisco and the market, making IoT one of Cisco’s major priorities.Previously, Mr. Kranz led efforts across Cisco to define, prioritize, and deliver Borderless Network Architecture and roadmaps.

Mr. Sajid Rahman is currently Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Health at Telenor Group. He is an experienced international leader with exposures in emerging markets of South-Asia, Africa, Middle-East and South-East Asia. He has board-level experience in banks, managing a wide range of businesses and taking them through M&A and integrations. He was the country retail banking business head of Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh, West Africa and Indonesia. He managed businesses of balance sheet of more than billion dollars and built very high performing businesses while managing a multi-cultural team.Mr. Rahman is also actively involved in building startups as well as high performing SMEs. He has brought in the first silicon valley based accelerator, Founder Institute, to the country and is a director of Founder Institute. He has a very strong global network within the technology space, ranging from US to Europe to Asia, and is considered a thought-leader in this area with regular columns on topics related to investments and global trends. He is also instrumental in bringing the required financing to a number of technology companies in Bangladesh and helping build the next “Facebook” on our soil. He is a mentor to Endeavor Indonesia, a US-based organization accelerating the growth of mid-size companies to billion dollar level. He is an active investor and board member of a number of technology companies in Asia and US. He is also a board member of UDGEL – the first utility scale wind turbine project in the country.

Emmanuel Routier started his carreer in 1991 at France Telecom on the deregulated market of voice & data private networks for French major accounts. Emmanuel then worked during 11 years in wholesale business, which took him to the US for France Telecom North America and to Europe for Mobistar. He also played an active role from 2004 to 2006 in the coordination of France Telecom Group wholesales business as Wholesale Coordination Committee Officer.. He joined Mobistar in 1999, where he managed Mobistar interconnection business, then extended his responsibilities to roaming, mobile & fix wholesales business and then to Machine to Machine activity. Emmanuel is, since beginning 2009, Director Machine to Machine & Intl M2M Center. He is responsible for Mobistar Machine to Machine Business Unit and for the M2M global offer for the Orange Group.

Stephanie Lynch Habib leads the Internet of Things (IoT) sales center for AT&T in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Stephanie has responsibility for the AT&T team that is helping multinational companies connect their global business and processes. Her team is helping to provide IoT solutions for the Connected Car and industrial tracking processes. Stephanie joined AT&T nearly 20 years ago, holding numerous leadership positions in CFO, HR, sales and marketing. Prior to her current role, Stephanie led the North Europe Sales Center that includes the “Benelux” (The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg) and “Nordic” regions (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). In this role, Stephanie helped AT&T customers transform their businesses and solve the challenges of the connected world. Stephanie is a member of the board of the AT&T European Women’s Network (AEWN) supporting a variety of community outreach efforts and the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign. Stephanie holds a Masters in Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and is a graduate of the Lucent Technologies Financial Leadership Development Program. Stephanie resides in Paris, France with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Alexander Lautz is currently in charge of the Business Unit M2M at Deutsche Telekom AG. In this role, he is responsible for developing innovative machine-to-machine products and solutions. Mr. Lautz joined T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH in 2002, first as Head of Business Marketing, before taking over as Head of Consumer Marketing in 2004. When Deutsche Telekom launched congstar as its second brand in Germany in 2007, Mr. Lautz took over as Managing Director of the company. In 2011, he moved to the growth initiative Connected Car, where he was responsible for Marketing, Services and Technology. Before his career at Deutsche Telekom, Mr. Lautz held different management positions at CNI GmbH and Mannesmann Arcor AG and was Managing Director of an IP provider for business customers.

James has over 20 years experience in the technology, telecoms and retail sectors across product development, commercial and technology roles. His last role was at O2 (Telefonica Digital) where he had accountability for developing the Machine-to-Machine and Internet-of-Things vision and strategy, definition of new products and propositions, creation and execution of the marketing plan and identifying new business opportunities and commercial innovations to grow revenue.

Asit joined NXP in January 2015 and is located in San Jose (USA). One of his focus areas will be to drive opportunities for NXP in the Internet of Things domain. He brings strong leadership capabilities with 20+ years of experience in the tech industry, deep expertise in formulating and implementing technology strategies – particularly in the IoT sector, and a track record of driving growth in large technology firms. Before joining NXP, Asit Goel was a Partner at Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading management consulting firms. While there, he orchestrated and led several multi-year engagements focused on driving growth in new technology sectors, and leading M&A and post-merger integration for large multi-billion dollar deals. He also served as the global lead for Bain’s IoT practice. In this role he worked closely with the NXP team for several years as a Bain partner. Prior to Bain, Asit held several technical and business management positions at ST Microelectronics and Memec LLC. He holds an MBA from Anderson School of Business, UCLA, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University, India.

Gary Atkinson, director of Emerging Technologies, ARM, is based in Cambridge UK, but spends his time travelling the world looking for new technology that already has or may have a use for ARM-based processors in disruptive, globally scaleable and impactful applications. He is also the chairman of the board of the Weightless SIG – a wide area wireless technology that will deliver connectivity in $2 chips that can span 10km but last 10 years on a single battery. Application areas of interest are Agriculture, Water Treatment and Distribution, Environmental monitoring and Energy Efficiency. He is particularly interested in how the mass deployment of low cost and low power sensors can provide the real-time data needed to improve production or energy efficiency, or automate how one machine talks to another.

Matt’s current focus at Machina Research is squarely on the emerging opportunity for machine-to-machine communication. He is considered one of the foremost industry experts on M2M.
