Mohamad (Mo) Nasser,

Mohamad (Mo) Nasser is the General Manager, IOT Business Units at Sprint. His team is accountable for the overall IoT Strategy, Products Management, Partner Management, Product Commercialization, Platforms and Marketing. He has over 25 years of wireless telecommunications management experience in product management, business development, strategic alliances and strategy. Prior to Joining Sprint, Mohamad served as the Sr. Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Virgin Mobile, he also headed the CDMA Product Management at Ericsson China.  Throughout his career Mohamad held various leadership positions at companies like Siemens, MCI, GTE and Qualcomm. Mohamad holds patents in EVDO technology. He and his family reside in the greater Los Angeles area in Southern California.

Deon Newman,
CMO, IBM Watson IoT
Deon Newman is vice president and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for IBM Watson Internet of Things. He is responsible for brand strategy, digital transformation, digital marketing, and demand generation. Before becoming CMO of Watson IoT in October 2015, Deon served as Vice President for IBM z Systems where led the rebranding and positioning of the IBM z System, the launch of the IBM LinuxOne line of systems and the celebration of Mainframe50, and oversaw revenue growth of 23%.

Deon has served as Vice President, Marketing and Communications responsible for IBM’s North America Systems and Technology business delivering 5 consecutive years of Server market leadership according to IDC. He was also the Worldwide Marketing Director for SOA and IBM WebSphere where he worked on launching IBM’s SOA initiative. Deon grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and during his career, has held a number of marketing and sales leadership positions in New York, London, Paris, and across Asia Pacific. He is currently based in London, UK, where he is perfecting the use of an umbrella and a stiff upper lip.

Sajid Rahman,
Mr. Sajid Rahman is currently Chief Executive Officer of Telenor Health at Telenor Group. He is an experienced international leader with exposures in emerging markets of South-Asia, Africa, Middle-East and South-East Asia. He has board-level experience in banks, managing a wide range of businesses and taking them through M&A and integrations. He was the country retail banking business head of Standard Chartered Bank in Bangladesh, West Africa and Indonesia. He managed businesses of balance sheet of more than billion dollars and built very high performing businesses while managing a multi-cultural team.Mr. Rahman is also actively involved in building startups as well as high performing SMEs. He has brought in the first silicon valley based accelerator, Founder Institute, to the country and is a director of Founder Institute. He has a very strong global network within the technology space, ranging from US to Europe to Asia, and is considered a thought-leader in this area with regular columns on topics related to investments and global trends. He is also instrumental in bringing the required financing to a number of technology companies in Bangladesh and helping build the next “Facebook” on our soil. He is a mentor to Endeavor Indonesia, a US-based organization accelerating the growth of mid-size companies to billion dollar level. He is an active investor and board member of a number of technology companies in Asia and US. He is also a board member of UDGEL – the first utility scale wind turbine project in the country.

Dr.Giles Nelson,
SVP Product Strategy and Marketing,
Dr Giles Nelson, Senior Vice President Product Strategy and Marketing, Software AG Giles has responsibility for Software AG’s In-Memory Computing and Streaming Analytics product lines and also leads its strategy in the Internet of Things. Giles Joined Software AG in July 2013. Previously, Giles was at Progress Software, responsible for Progress’ Decision Analytics business line. Prior to joining Progress Software, he co-founded Apama, the pioneering event processing vendor. Giles holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge.


Michael Rygol,

Dr. Michael Rygol is a Vice President responsible for PTC’s PLM Solutions. Dr. Rygol has more than 27 years experience in the computing industry, with experience in the fields of silicon design, robotic vision, visualization and PLM. He joined DIVISION in 1993, which was acquired by PTC in 1999.

Juergen Hase,
CEO – IoT Business,
Juergen Hase is a telecoms industry veteran, having worked for over 25 years to develop, implement and execute new businesses in different global markets. In the IoT arena he has experience already for more than 10 years. 1st of July’16 he has started as CEO IoT business of Anil Ambani-le Reliance Group based in Mumbai to execute the IoT strategy for India. Till recently, he was director, IoT / M2M at Qatar-based Ooredoo, responsible for implementing the company’s IoT business in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, in multiple vertical segments. Before he has founded and managed as Vice President the M2M Competence Center on group level all national and global M2M / IoT activities for Deutsche Telekom. Complemental he has been board member of many global M2M associations such like Global M2M Alliance (GMA), International M2M Council (IMS) and M2M Alliance. Juergen Hase graduated at the Technical University in Germany with a major in Telecommunications.

Hans Dahlberg,

Hans Dahlberg, Vice President of TeliaSonera Global IoT Solutions,  responsible for the global M2M business area at TeliaSonera. Hans has over 25 years of experience in telecom, management and business development and has held a variety of senior management positions at TeliaSonera and Ericsson..

Emmanuel Routier,
Vice President, M2M
Emmanuel Routier started his carreer in 1991 at France Telecom on the deregulated market of voice & data private networks for French major accounts. Emmanuel then worked during 11 years in wholesale business, which took him to the US for France Telecom North America and to Europe for Mobistar. He also played an active role from 2004 to 2006 in the coordination of France Telecom Group wholesales business as Wholesale Coordination Committee Officer.. He joined Mobistar in 1999, where he managed Mobistar interconnection business, then extended his responsibilities to roaming, mobile & fix wholesales business and then to Machine to Machine activity. Emmanuel is, since beginning 2009, Director Machine to Machine & Intl M2M Center. He is responsible for Mobistar Machine to Machine Business Unit and for the M2M global offer for the Orange Group.


Jari Salminen,
MD Strategic Partners
Jari Salminen is MD Strategic Partners at Cumulocity GmbH, the IoT/ M2M spin-off of Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). Jari joined Cumulocity from Vodafone where he was leading global strategy and business development teams in the Global M2M business. Prior to Vodafone, Jari has been working in management positions at Nokia and IBM. He holds an MBA from Henley Business School (UK), and MSC from Helsinki University of Technology (Finland).

Bernd Gross,
Bernd is the CEO of Cumulocity. He was previously responsible for the IoT Business at Nokia Siemens Networks. Bernd is a globally oriented executive with more than 20 years of work experience in Germany, Finland, UK, Asia and US (Silicon Valley). Bernd holds a master degree in Information & Communication Technology and an MBA from the London Business School, UK.


Shahar Yaacobi,
Head of IoT Marketing,
Shahar leads the development and execution of Amdocs’ global Internet of Things solutions marketing strategy.He has more than a 12 years of strategy, marketing and product management experience in the telecommunications software industry.In his previous role with Amdocs, Shahar led the marketing of data and cloud monetization for Amdocs Revenue Management. Prior to Amdocs, Shahar held management positions at Comverse, now Xura, Orange Israel and Cellact.As an expert in business strategy and marketing, Shahar regularly briefs industry analysts, writes eBooks, whitepapers and articles. He is invited to speak at major industry events as well as at thought-leadership events for strategic customers.Shahar holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Industrial Management Engineering, both from Tel- Aviv University.


Stephanie Lynch-Habib

Stephanie Lynch Habib leads the Internet of Things (IoT) sales center for AT&T in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Stephanie has responsibility for the AT&T team that is helping multinational companies connect their global business and processes. Her team is helping to provide IoT solutions for the Connected Car and industrial tracking processes. Stephanie joined AT&T nearly 20 years ago, holding numerous leadership positions in CFO, HR, sales and marketing. Prior to her current role, Stephanie led the North Europe Sales Center that includes the “Benelux” (The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg) and “Nordic” regions (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). In this role, Stephanie helped AT&T customers transform their businesses and solve the challenges of the connected world. Stephanie is a member of the board of the AT&T European Women’s Network (AEWN) supporting a variety of community outreach efforts and the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign. Stephanie holds a Masters in Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and is a graduate of the Lucent Technologies Financial Leadership Development Program. Stephanie resides in Paris, France with her husband and two sons.

Kal Gyimesi
Industry Marketing Director for IoT,
Mr. Gyimesi leads the worldwide marketing deployment of Big Data and Analytic solutions for the Automotive, Electronics and Aerospace Industries at IBM’s Software Group. He is also developing software marketing strategy around the Internet of Things across all industries.  He has over 20 years of experience leading the implementation of complex business solutions. He previously led the development of new business research for Industrial clients, specializing in the Automotive Industry at IBM’s Institute for Business Value.  Other leadership roles at IBM included business development for RFID technology, commercialization of Intellectual Property assets and the development of Demand Management offerings

Dr.Jeff Smith,
Chief Innovation & Technology Officer Dr. Smith has been an Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Company since October 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Ublip, Inc., a provider of M2M and location based services that he co-founded in 2007. From January 2002 until June 2007, Dr. Smith served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SensorLogic, Inc., an M2M application service provider that he also founded. From June 1996 until January 2000, Dr. Smith served as regional President and director of NTT/Verio, an internet service provider and web hosting company. From October 1993 until January 1997, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of OnRamp Technologies, an internet service provider that he co-founded..


Dr. Alexander Lautz
Senior Vice President M2M,

Dr. Alexander Lautz is currently in charge of the Business Unit M2M at Deutsche Telekom AG. In this role, he is responsible for developing innovative machine-to-machine products and solutions. Mr. Lautz joined T-Mobile Deutschland GmbH in 2002, first as Head of Business Marketing, before taking over as Head of Consumer Marketing in 2004. When Deutsche Telekom launched congstar as its second brand in Germany in 2007, Mr. Lautz took over as Managing Director of the company. In 2011, he moved to the growth initiative Connected Car, where he was responsible for Marketing, Services and Technology. Before his career at Deutsche Telekom, Mr. Lautz held different management positions at CNI GmbH and Mannesmann Arcor AG and was Managing Director of an IP provider for business customers.

James Monighan,

James is currently Managing Director of SmartThings in Europe. Previously, James was at Connected Homes in February 2014 and was responsible for the Smart Energy Report and Live Energy Data products. These provide customers with powerful insights on energy consumption, combined with tips and comparisons with similar households to give a complete view of their home energy use. James has over 20 years experience in the technology, telecoms and retail sectors across product development, commercial and technology roles. His last role was at O2 (Telefonica Digital) where he had accountability for developing the Machine-to-Machine and Internet-of-Things vision and strategy, definition of new products and propositions, creation and execution of the marketing plan and identifying new business opportunities and commercial innovations to grow revenue.

Dave Wagstaff,
Vice President and Chief Architect, BSQUARE Corporation,
Dave Wagstaff has been our Vice President and Chief Architect since November 2013.  In this role Mr. Wagstaff drives a comprehensive and integrated strategy for all Bsquare products including the company’s Internet of Things offerings.  Mr. Wagstaff has held a number of senior and strategic technology positions including Chief Architect, Advanced Solutions at Lantronix from June 2011 to November 2013, Director of Engineering at Lantronix from July 2008 to June 2011, Director, Software Development at Open Text, Inc. from September 1999 to July 2008 and Software Development Manager at both Gauss Interprise, Inc and Diebold from May 1980 to September 1999.

Asit Geol,
Senior Vice President & General Manager Business,
Asit joined NXP in January 2015 and is located in San Jose (USA). One of his focus areas will be to drive opportunities for NXP in the Internet of Things domain. He brings strong leadership capabilities with 20+ years of experience in the tech industry, deep expertise in formulating and implementing technology strategies – particularly in the IoT sector, and a track record of driving growth in large technology firms. Before joining NXP, Asit Goel was a Partner at Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading management consulting firms. While there, he orchestrated and led several multi-year engagements focused on driving growth in new technology sectors, and leading M&A and post-merger integration for large multi-billion dollar deals. He also served as the global lead for Bain’s IoT practice. In this role he worked closely with the NXP team for several years as a Bain partner. Prior to Bain, Asit held several technical and business management positions at ST Microelectronics and Memec LLC. He holds an MBA from Anderson School of Business, UCLA, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bangalore University, India.

Gary Atkinson,
Director of Emerging Technologies
Gary Atkinson, director of Emerging Technologies, ARM, is based in Cambridge UK, but spends his time travelling the world looking for new technology that already has or may have a use for ARM-based processors in disruptive, globally scaleable and impactful applications. He is also the chairman of the board of the Weightless SIG – a wide area wireless technology that will deliver connectivity in $2 chips that can span 10km but last 10 years on a single battery. Application areas of interest are Agriculture, Water Treatment and Distribution, Environmental monitoring and Energy Efficiency. He is particularly interested in how the mass deployment of low cost and low power sensors can provide the real-time data needed to improve production or energy efficiency, or automate how one machine talks to another.

Matt Hatton,
Managing Director
Matt Hatton is a widely respected wireless industry expert with 15 years’ experience in the mobile sector. He is currently a Director at Machina Research, a specialist research and consultancy firm focusing on the M2M, IoT and Big Data. Prior to establishing Machina Research, Matt worked at 3 UK, Yankee Group and Analysys Mason. Matt’s current focus at Machina Research is squarely on the emerging opportunity for machine-to-machine communication. He is considered one of the foremost industry experts on M2M. As well as managing a growing team of analysts at Machina Research he spends his time helping mobile network operators, vendors, regulators and numerous other interested parties to understand the implications and opportunities presented by the growth of new connected devices. Matt is widely quoted in both trade publications and the wider national and international press. He also speaks frequently at conferences and acts as a judge for a number of prestigious awards. Matt holds an MSc in Telecommunications (Distinction) from University College London.

Sukamal Banerjee,

Sukamal Banerjee is the Global Head of Engineering Services (ERS) business line at HCLTechnologies focused on Hi-Tech & Communications Markets. This involves defining market strategy, business development and P&L responsibility.In addition, he leads HCL ERS’ investments in Product Management and Service Line Unit development for world-wide markets. He also holds the global charter for extending HCL’sthought and implementation leadership in Internet of Things (IoT) and defining partnership strategy.In a career spanning two decades, he has been instrumental in establishing HCL’s market leadership in the engineering outsourcing business. He has been responsible for many of the first of its kind relationships with customers covering unique business models, entry into new geographic markets, entry into new vertical market segments and also pioneering wins of new service lines.Sukamal, started his career as a Software Engineer developing algorithms and software products across several aspects of object modeling and manufacturing outcome optimizations.He continues this passion on tracking and analyzing the future of technology and its impact on Enterprises and Consumers. He is also a frequent speaker in several industry and technology forums with focus on Communications, Digital Businesses and IoT.Sukamal holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and is based out of Seattle, USA..

Vikram Koka,

Vikram Koka is the Vice President of IoT at Flexera Software, where he is responsible for the Internet of Things business. Prior to joining Flexera Software, Vikram was the Chief Architect for Macrovision across all its product lines, including the DRM, video and game distribution offerings, as well as software licensing.  Vikram has held senior engineering or technical management positions at companies such as Silicon Graphics (SGI), and LSI Logic as well as startups such as CellMania (acquired by Blackberry) and SmartDB.  Vikram has an MS in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a BS in electronics & communications engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
